London Breakfast Briefing: Practical application of 5D BIM to commercial controls

Learnings and benefits from LogiKal and Eiffage Kier's work integrating BIM with commercial controls, to provide 5D capability, on a major infrastructure project in the UK.

Join Iain Cameron at the London Breakfast Briefing on the 30th October 2019. The event will look at ‘Developing 5D BIM on a major infrastructure Project in the UK’.

Building Information Modelling (BIM) is an industry established process for providing digital data to the client, but there are also significant savings in effort that can be made if the BIM is integrated with commercial controls, to give 5D capability.

This is a great opportunity for knowledge sharing and networking – plus there is no cost for attending!

Aligning performance measures and increasing maturity - a better recipe for project success?

How can major infrastructure and construction programmes deliver when balancing short-term and long-term goals?

It is acknowledged that senior leaders of the organisations involved in the delivery of these programmes are primarily targeted on short-term measures such as ‘earnings per share’ and ‘productivity’, often overshadowing medium to long-term objectives. The expectation is for these senior leaders to produce results today while preparing for tomorrow, so how can this be achieved?
