2018 Project Controls Survey Report

Since 2015, LogiKal’s has measured the use of project controls and the maturity of project management systems, analysing their impact on project success. Last year, the survey investigated the reasons for investing in increasingly robust project controls solutions.

The 2017 survey revealed

• Organisations that recognise project controls as a profession achieve better project outcomes
• Lack of direction and support from management is a major issue affecting project controls maturity
• Organisations are not using performance information constructively to manage project delivery
• 68% success rate for organisations using performance information to manage project delivery versus a 7% success rate for those that didn’t

This year the LogiKal Survey touches on diversity and innovation in the industry. This is in addition to our usual survey areas which enable us to benchmark against previous results and measure improvement.
