LocationLocation

We have positions available at both our London and Birmingham offices but travel will be frequently required for project work, often staying away during the week. 

For those that are interested there could also be opportunities for international travel, particularly to Australia and Hong Kong where we have a number of offices. 

Requirements

2:1 or above (engineering-based degrees are desirable)

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both colleagues and external clients

Excellent verbal and written communication

Methodical approach to problem solving

Confident, ambitious, adaptable, self-motivated

Excellent at working both in a team and individually

Strong attention to detail

Ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will be expected to draw on previous university and employment experience to manage their time effectively and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will also have a keen interest in developing your knowledge in Planning, Project Controls and Project Management of major engineering and construction projects in the UK.

You’ll be part of a dynamic team of leaders in the field with opportunities for exposure across several industries including Rail, Aviation, Oil & Gas, Defence, Construction. We work with some of the largest and most exciting engineering projects in the UK, including HS2, Thames Tideway, Battersea Power station, Heathrow and numerous others. For those that are interested there could also be opportunities for international travel, particularly to Australia and Hong Kong where we have a number of other offices. You’ll receive first class training in a number of related areas and will be rewarded with a benefits package that includes our annual ski trip.

Salary

The Annual salary for our graduate during their first year is £23,000 rising to £25,000 after passing probation.

Stage 1:

Online Application: CV and cover letter

This is your chance to tell us about your academic background and any work experience you have so far. Please think about why a career in Project Controls appeals to you and make sure to include this in your cover letter.

Stage 2:

Phone Interview

This will be an informal chat to find out a little bit more about you and your ambitions. It’s also a great opportunity for you to express your interest in LogiKal!

 

Stage 3:

Face to Face interview

The 1:1 interview is your chance to demonstrate what makes you stand out from other candidates. This will be at our London office (or skype).

This is your chance to display the qualities that a CV can’t do justice to!

Stage 4:

Assessment day (August)

Lastly, you will be invited to an assessment day at our London office. The day will consist of group exercises, a series of short tests and two further interviews. You’ll get to meet the LogiKal team and hear from our current graduate consultants about their experiences. We want you to enjoy these days as this is your opportunity to find out about life at LogiKal.

These days are likely to take place the week commencing 17th August. If you make it to the final stage, it is essential that you are available to attend.
