LogiKal supported BAM to perform planning and scheduling for the construction of the new Satellite Centres at Tallaght and Connolly Hospitals as part of the €1 Billion National Children’s Hospital project.
Delays can negatively impact projects and often result in claims situations. Our preference is early involvement on a client’s project to set up an environment, which minimises the likelihood of claims occurring. However, where we can’t, we have a strong history supporting clients with delay analysis and claims as well.
We can unpick why claims happen, understand where the delays occur and the resulting impact. Using our expertise, we identify future delays, potential bottlenecks and help plan against them.

- We assess the influence that any delay had over the cost and schedule
- Using our benchmarking data, we identify where future problems may occur and mitigate against them
- Interrogate large amounts of information to visualise trends, highlight areas to investigate and pinpoint the cause (planned vs as-built methodology)
- Provide forensic planning support to assist in contractual disputes
