Diversity and Inclusion

At LogiKal we believe in community and that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Through embracing and championing diversity we embed a philosophy of ‘everyone wins’ at the heart of how we do business. Together We Can- LogiKal Diversity and InclusionWe create a team of world-class leading project professionals by ensuring a diverse mix of educational backgrounds, industry backgrounds, and nationalities. We progress and champion diversity and inclusion by offering fast growth and learning with future opportunities for leadership, and through our involvement with industry groups committed to creating a better more inclusive work environment.

As part of the construction industry, we strive to address the gender disparity by ensuring we are encouraging women into the project controls profession. Construction in Australia is a male-dominated industry with only 12% identifying as female (NAWIC report). We therefore do everything we can to try to make a difference to this figure. We target a 50:50 male to female ratio in our graduate programme intake each year,  encouraging a gender-balanced and diverse team.

Research shows that women are less likely than men to apply for a role if they do not have every requirement from the job description. We are committed to getting the best candidate for the role and getting the right fit for the team. We encourage you to apply if the role resonates with you, even if you do not have every requirement!

There is much to be done in building a diverse, inclusive and welcoming environment across the construction industry. For us to achieve this as an industry, we need to work together and harness our collective power to drive LGBTQ+ inclusion.
