As part of the construction industry, we strive to address the gender disparity by ensuring we are encouraging women into the project controls profession. With the UK Economic Outlook report revealing that women make up just 12.6% up of the workforce in construction, we do everything we can to try to make a difference to this figure. We target a 50:50 male to female ratio in our graduate programme intake each year, encouraging a gender-balanced and diverse team.
Research shows that women are less likely than men to apply for a role if they do not have every requirement from the job description.
