LogiKal was engaged by the Tier 1 Contractor to establish and operate a small PMO, with a strong focus on planning, control and reporting. With limited structure in place, LogiKal was able to quickly identify the end client requirements and implement the necessary processes, systems and resources to both meet these requirements and significantly improve overall management of the project. Further savings were made through LogiKal’s substantially improved performance information flow from the work face to the management team through the implementation of an automated Dashboard. This significantly reduced the time it took to produce the report, whilst also improving the interface between the delivery team, the PMO and other stakeholders. Whilst the project overran as a result of engineering challenges, LogiKal’s ensured early visibility of the likely overrun, which enabled management action to minimize the impact of this delay whilst keeping the end client informed throughout the process.
